Welcome to 2nd grade!  We will have a busy year and will be learning about lots of new and exciting things.  We will play fun math games with Everyday Math, watch caterpillars grow into butterflies in our classroom and learn new reading strategies and practice them in reading centers.  I'm looking forward to a wonderful school year!

Background
I love teaching 2nd grade!  This is my fifth year teaching 2nd grade at A.C. Corcoran.  I attended graduate school at the College of Charleston and graduated in 2008 with my Masters in Early Childhood Education.  I love being a part of the A.C. Corcoran community.   

Personal
I have been married for 1 year to Jack and we have a cute dog named Finn.  I love to travel to new places, read, cook, and I enjoy running with Jack and Finn.  I have lived in Charleston for 12 years and enjoy walking around downtown and relaxing at the beach.
