Our Hearts are With the Children of Haiti Fundraiser
Dear AC Corcoran Families,
The earthquake in Haiti made us feel terrible for the kids there. The orphans have no mother or father and now they have no place to live. Fourth grade has decided to help the orphans.
We are going to have a fundraiser and all of the money will go to
Hearts with Haiti.
This organization helps three different orphanages.
Our fundraiser is named "Our Hearts are with the Children of Haiti" and will take place during the month of February.
All month, the students in Ms. Evans-Taylor's class will make and sell buttons.
February 1-5
Ms Moskos class is in charge of Hat Week.
Students pay $2 to wear a hat to school.
February 8-12
Mrs. Branham's class will have a bake sale.
Items will be between 50 cents and $1
February 15-19
Mrs. Hallman's class will sell candy
At the PTA meeting on February 23, we will make a presentation about Hearts with Haiti and our fundraiser.
That night, we will also be taking donations from parents and families and selling our remaining items.

PTA is selling BlowPops for Valentine's Day
BlowPops are 25 cents each and will be delivered on Friday, February 12.
A PTA Representative will be selling the BlowPops during lunch from Friday, February, 5 - Thrursday, February 11.
